Betsson is proud to announce our participation in the new Employers Against Domestic Abuse’ initiative, launched in collaboration with the Estonian President Emeritus Kaljulaid’s Foundation, and other leading employers in the country. We are deeply committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we operate and our participation here is clear evidence of this ongoing commitment. This initiative aims to tackle the pressing societal issue of domestic abuse by providing support and raising awareness within workplaces.

Domestic abuse is a serious issue that affects individuals across all walks of life, and we believe that employers play a crucial role in helping address it. Through the ‘Violence-Free’ initiative, we are not only raising awareness but also ensuring that our workplaces are safe environments where employees feel empowered to seek help and receive support.

Betsson Group’s HR Manager for the Baltics, Jaarika Nurmsalu, highlighted the importance of this initiative: “As a sustainable business, Betsson is committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. We are honoured to collaborate with the employers’ initiative to help reduce domestic abuse. This is a serious societal issue that affects both individuals and communities at large. Our goal is to raise awareness and create a safe workplace environment where people feel empowered to seek help and receive support. We believe that together, we can bring about positive change that benefits individuals, employers, and society as a whole.”

We believe that creating a safe and supportive workplace is essential for the well-being of our people. Together with other forward-thinking companies, we look forward to making a real difference and helping create a safer, healthier society for everyone.
