The Global Gaming Awards recognise the strongest performers in the gaming industry over the past 12 months, with a particular focus on excellence and progress within the EMEA region. The awards are widely regarded as one of  the most trusted and respected benchmarks in the industry, with winners selected through a transparent and independently adjudicated process.

Voting is carried out by a panel of 50 senior industry executives, with strict safeguards in place to manage conflicts of interest. Judges do not participate in voting for any categories where a conflict exists. In this context, Betsson Group’s CEO, Jesper Svensson, contributed his extensive industry expertise to the judging panel while being excluded from any categories involving Betsson Group.

The winners will be announced during an exclusive ceremony on 19 January 2026 in Barcelona, held at the end of Day 1 of ICE 2026. During the same week, Betsson Group will also be represented at the International Gaming Awards, where the company has received 12 nominations, as well as the European iGaming Awards, with a further 10 nominations.
